Faltering Thyroid

Edward S Bumgarner  ©2010

One of the primary reasons a person develops diabetes is the lowered production of the thyroid hormone.

When a person has low thyroid hormone production, the fat-burning ability slows down and becomes a moot point. Your metabolism slows down and the body retains fat and weight around your belly. Insulin levels in the body increase which means that high insulin levels,
the body packs even more weight on.
